ipad pro battery replacement not available?

The newer Apple devices will, more than likely, end in the same fate or worse as Apple is making their devices nearly impossible to repair or replace batteries by third party electronics repair centers now, by serial-ising every internal part and linking THAT part to each and every singular device to make it near impossible to be able to swap out/cannibalise parts out of other damaged, but exact same model devices.

It is what it is.

Apple and other major device manufacturers are lobbying hard and spending millions to snuff out any possibilities of “right to repair” our devices elsewhere and for cheaper costs.

Apple and other electronics makers/manufacturers think that THEY know what is best, but clearly don’t.

The next new thing going around, now, for the future is that we will pay an expensive cost for these electronics devices that we will never really own and never be able to repair through any cheaper third party services and we will, supposedly, be happy about that!

Only you can decide what you want to do in the near future for a device.

You could always leave your older iPad Pro constant;y tethered to power and forget about constantly charging what is left of the battery.

I own two of these 2015/2016 12.9 inch screen iPad Pro models ( 256 GBs versions ) and it looks like I will be facing a similar situation as you when the batteries in my own older iPad Pros start to fail.

There is NOT much to be done when the batteries start to go.

I am hoping to have better luck than you, as I live in the U.S. finding a better deal for a third party battery replacement service for my older iPad Pro models, myself, as I really can’t afford a new or newer 2018, 12.9 iPad Pro right now or even the 10.9 inch screen iPad Air 4

Once you experience using the nearly 13 inch screen iPad, it is really going to be hard to go back to a smaller screen iPad model.

When the day comes when my iPad Pro batteries start failing and draining faster, that will be the time I start looking for a reasonably priced battery repair service for these two iPad Pro models.

I think being in the U.S., I maybe able to get more reasonable pricing to install a third party battery.into these iPad Pro models.

Sorry that you could find a more reasonable AU third party repair center to do your iPad Pro battery replacement.

The pricing you got seems just outrageous and ridiculous price gouging.
