Touch id not responding on MacBook pro,How to fix it?

The MacBook Pro 16 is 3 months old, two weeks ago the touch id stopped working.

I tried to reset smc

tried delete and re-add my Touch ID fingerprint, but I can't add because it doesn't recognize the fingerprint at all.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 11.2

Hi,

Try to run Apple Diagnostics if it reports TouchID sensor related issue(BMT001, BMT003, BMT004, BMT005).

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support

If it doesn't help, contact Apple Support to tell them about the circumstance you face with now.
