Big Sur 11.2 browser issues

Hi all,

ever since I updated my MacBook Pro my browsers (safari and chrome) are now stalling out and won’t connect to any website. I have checked my internet, which is fine. The only thing that works is restarting, but I don’t want to have to restart every time Safari is unresponsive. Any help or suggestions would be helpful.

Hi there Daniellepatt,

It sounds like you're having difficulty loading websites in Safari and Chrome on your MacBook Pro since updating to macOS Big Sur 11.2. We're glad you're here, and we can help.

""If your Mac is set up to connect to a Wi-Fi network, it can analyze the connection for issues that affect its performance, including its connection to the Internet." Let's start with the steps in this support article to analyze your network and diagnose the issue:

If your Mac doesn't connect to the Internet over Wi-Fi

Next, if you're able to access other online content, try the suggestions here:

If you can’t open a website in Safari on Mac

Let us know how it goes.

Cheers.
