Data security between devices
I gave an old iPad to a family member. They are still seeing my email and instant messages from Facebook. How can I remedy this without losing data on my current iPad and iphone

You should prepare your old iPad properly:

This procedure will properly prepare the iPad for its new owner, securely deleting all data and sensitive information - and removes the Activation Lock that might otherwise make reuse of the iPad difficult. Completing this procedure will not impact your other devices.
