Can I change my Apple ID to use an iCloud e-mail alias? I want to use my business account alias instead of my personal email. Seems simple enough, yet I can't do it. I added the alias to the addresses reachable at and it says it has to be the iCloud address in the list. Well, I added the new one in the list but still get the same error.
What a PITA.

You can't use an alias as your Apple ID. You can only use the @iCloud.com, @me.com or @mac.com addresses that came with your Apple ID. Not everyone has all 3 of the addresses.
