I can no longer access my BT mail on my ipad

Over night my bt mail accesssed on my Ipad mail icon would not send or receive emails. I can access it via the BT webmail page. I have not been able to sort the prtoblem and BT say it is an Apple issue. Can anyone help please. I have a similar problem on my adroid phone which sugges4ts to me it is a BT issue; but not an expert in thse matters.

All was well until about a week ago, I have deleted the account several times but have great problems adding the email account frequently seeing BT server not responding. I have no problems on my PC using Windows Live mail or my Android phone. The iPad is one of the first and no longer gets any updates and states that IOS 9.3.5 is up to date. Occasionally BT mail will be received on the iPad and I can get it using Safari or Chrome Is the problem with BT or Apple?

BT internet email problem Hi. I have a recent problem with my email service. At some point during one day a couple of weeks ago, the following issues seem to have started: missing virtually all sent emails from the account on my iPad since the account started, but not my iPhone similarly, logging onto web based email account, using different devices, my iPad, my iPhone, wife’s iPad and laptop, exactly the same issue emails sent from iPad don’t appear in the sent box on the iPhone and vice versa. There are no settings I have changed, no passwords, no upgrades, etc. I have checked I am using the correct servers etc. I have a fairly up to date mobile think it’s a 12 mini but the iPad is quite old, though not the iPad2, I think it is an ipad5 but it probably dates back to 2016. I accept that is pretty old but that shouldn’t cause my sent emails to disappear from the web Mail app! I have contacted BT and so far, they have been unable to advise what has caused this and how to fix it. I am awaiting a further update call hopefully today, but I don’t have much confidence this will get resolved. So in the meantime, I am wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar problem in the past with BT email, if so was it rectified, and if so how. Thanks.

BT email on iPhone 5S Up until 1 week ago I could access my BT email via the icon on my iPhone. The error message says the email server mail.btinternet.com is not responding verify that you have entered the correct account info in mail settings. I have contacted BT and because my email works perfectly well on my laptop etc... they say that it is not their server that is the problem and must be a setting in my iPhone. I have check the password is correct I have deleted the account and added it again but I am still not able to access my email via the email icon - this is really inconvenient as many apps send emails to my bt email to enable me to access them - please can I ask if anyone can help me to sort this out
