iPhone XS Max Green Vertical line issue.

I’ve the green vertical line suddenly it’s appeared on the screen.

last 2-3 weeks

I did noticed that...

sometime the line was slim or getting thicker...

when the screen turn off then on this line is slim on the dark boot screen.....

when screen is on then it’s getting thicker...

as same as the others users round the world that had complained and experienced this.

Some are lucky got a replacement unit while it’s happened during warranty or apple care extension.

seems like I’m not.

iPhone had been using under normal conditions.

There’s no damages on the iphone body or screen.

iPhone had been used very careful for the last 2 years.

not even a scratch!

went to iStore then sent to apple authorised repair in Cape Town, South Africa,

They changed me R6.500.00++ for screen replacement unit

what’s cause the problems? As apple has that software and special tools to diagnose.

im still waiting for the full damages report from them...

The OLED screen manufactured by Samsung.

IPhone and Samsung global users experienced this on their device for the last 2-3 years.

Samsung and Apple aware of the cause of OLED screen burn-in.

But Its not related to any recall program on X series. Screen module? But Instead of touch issue problem with this? Or Hardware failure? Software issue? Electrical issue?

2020 we were under lockdown...

and there’s nothing much that consumer could do much about this...

But this shouldn’t be quiet amd ignored...

As a Apple royal customer.

Hopefully Apple will have a serious investigation over this issue.

Take this VERTICAL GREEN LINE problem as serious as other recall program.

I’m not expecting Apple to sell the expensive iPhone that’s come with randomly screen issues.

The brilliant Retina OLED screen which won’t even last for 2 years.

Hope this will be sort out real soon.
