AirPod Pro Low Battery Sound Too LOUD

I was reading and my system volume was about 2/3 of the way up. It's late at night, all the lights are off, I'm doing some reading to practice languages when the sound is SO LOUD in my ears it absolutely startles me.

I reported this to Apple feedback. That might be a better place to get action. The auto reply said “Thank you for your feedback on AirPods.

We cannot respond to you personally, but please know that your message has been received and will be reviewed by the AirPods Team.”

I'm watching YouTube videos, in between videos where there is no sound output I get a SCREECHINGLY LOUD sound in my ears. Why? Is it some sort of torture protocol I have to endure for using Apple products? Why not just fix it so I don't have to comment in this thread virtually everyday. And my system volume was not even loud compared to the INSANELY LOUD screeching noise in my ears.

I WAS WRITING AN EMAIL AND THE SOUND WAS SO LOUD IT STARTLED ME AND MY BODY JUMPED. DO NO APPLE ENGINEERS EVER WORK WHILE USING THIS DEVICE? IF SO THEY WOULD KNOW IT'S COMPLETELY BROKEN IN THIS REGARD. WHY DO THEY NOT FIX IT? WHY DO I HAVE TO KEEP LEAVING A COMMENT ON THIS THREAD OVER AND OVER?

WHY IS IT SO LOUD? DOES ANYBODY KNOW? WHY CAN'T THEY FIX IT. IT WOULD TAKE ONE DEV AN AFTERNOON. MATCH IT TO THE SYSTEM VOLUME SO IT ISN'T INSANELY LOUD. MULTI TRILLION DOLLAR COMPANY CAN'T FIX AN OBVIOUSLY BROKEN SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLAR PRODUCT?

The devs should frankly be embarrassed with themselves. If you look over the internet EVERYONE is complaining about this. I'm absolutely sure it's causing people damage to their ears let alone their psyches when they get STARTLED by this terrible BROKEN PRODUCT.

I agree. I’ve experienced many migraines because of this and I feel like they are damaging my eardrums. Apple, this is a simple fix. If you can introduce conversation boost and all the accessibility features, you can fix this. Smh

It shocks the consciousness, to be polite. Hearing damage and ptsd are among the top concerns with the high decibel battery warning sound. This has been going on for years now, how is this possible from a company that has 100's of billions in cash reserves? All customers with these unfixable versions of AirPods should be upgraded to new fixed AirPods!

I'm stunned that Apple still hasn't addressed or fixed this.

I literally just jumped when I got the warning (not the first time it happens by a long shot, but so loud it still scares the **** out of me). It was enough to make me log in and comment.

I imagine Apple engineers are using AirPods; how can they tolerate and justify a low volume sound that's so ridiculously out of place?

This is one of the dumbest things they could possibly do. Just add a setting to disable it please, no one wants to fall asleep and wake up to this annoying loud noise. It would take someone a few minutes to add a setting, please do it.

yeah this is legitimately painful — I dont understand how this passes an ear safety test. it startles me everytime and makes me perpetually nervous about using my airpods knowing that sound might happen if I havent obsessively been checking the battery life 🙁

What you don't know is apple is chalk full of woke engineers that will stumble overthemselves in order to not be seen as ignoring users with hearing disabilities. I.E. it needs to be loud enough for hearing disabled people to hear it. lol. Dog help us all.

My airpods died almost 20 minutes ago and my ear still hurts from the noise. My airpods were randomly quiet for a while but after I cleaned them out I noticed now loud the sound of them dying is now that I usually have my volume pretty low because of my sensitivity issues. I think this is a very serious issue especially to those who can’t handle these loud noises (like me). I’m just trying to listen to music while I draw but I keep messing up because of how startling the noise is.
