LinkedIn app asks me for my credentials. Why can’t I login with my Apple ID?

If I put in the password it won't let me log in with that password. Go back and choose another account: Using the other account, I use the same Apple ID as "sign in to appleid.apple.com". I then use the same password that was previously used in appleid.apple.com, except this time I log in. What could be the possible reasons I can't use appleid.apple.com, but using the other account option using the same user name and password I can log in.

Panda Express Sign in with Apple asks for Password I recently tried to set up an account with Panda Express app. When trying to sign in with Apple, the app asked for my iCloud password. This seems off to me. Indeed, the official web page for Sign in with Apple clearly says: At your first sign in, apps and websites can ask only for your name and email address to set up an account for you. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210318 Should I be concerned? Is this normal for an app to request iCloud credentials? Thanks, Marty

LinkedIn is not an Apple product. Contact the app developer here --> App Support or LinkedIn Help
