I received an email from Norton from no reply Norton security claiming they charged me $329.99 and if I did not want to continue to call them. I assumed it was a fake email and deleted it. Was I correct

I got the same but it is fake (Phising) so just ignore but you can check your bank accounts to be sure.

Check your credit card or bank account to see if there was a payment for $329.99 to Norton.

Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls ...
Typically third party Anti-Virus does nothing but add issues and compete directly with Apple’s® own built in Security:
Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/Anti-Virus/VPN
