Sound effects not showing in my Final Cut Pro folder

So I go into my Final Cut Pro sound effects and the folder I created isn’t their. I’ve followed the steps. Library-audio-apple loops- apple- Final Cut Pro sound effects.

In the Final Cut Pro sound effects folder I added to new folders with the sound effects in each folder. When I go onto Final Cut Pro and click the tab top right corner my folders aren’t showing. I restarted my computer and or closed the app out and nothing still seems to be working. Can anyone help me out here !?

If these folders are empty, or do not have actual audio files in them, they won't appear in FCP.

If they do have files in them, what are the types of those files? aif? wav? other files?

I am not sure about the supported audio files in this location, but if you tell us what you have, we can test if that is the problem.

I have a few folders in that location with aif files and they DO show and have been used in FCP.

Some even have subfolders and I can navigate them and add the files.
