Music does not see iPhone

This is to activate the thread followed by hundreds of others who can not see their IPhone on this new 'Music' product. (MUSIC does a horrific job all around and we gave up on it when ITunes destroyed so many of our personal music libraries). Forced to use it for iPhone and now that is not failing. Apple posted some standby unhelpful links for the last unfortunate soul who posted and that thread is not closed. Is this just another post-Jobs, Apple no win?
