How do I connect my MacBook Pro 16” to my BenQ PD2700U monitor?

I have just bought a BenQ PD2700U monitor. It comes with various cables but not the one I need to connect directly to my MacBook Pro 16” (2019).

I already have a USB to USBC adaptor and so I have connected this to the USB cable which came with the monitor but my MacBook Pro is not displaying on my BenQ.

Any ideas what I should do? Thanks. I’m a graphic designer but when it comes to cables I’m so not techy!

Hello Bee3611,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you need help with which adapter to use with your monitor. We're happy to help.

Depending on the ports available on the monitor, you can use Thunderbolt 3 cable or USB-C to connect. More information is here: Adapters for the Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C port on your Mac or iPad Pro

This will give you additional information how to connect the monitor to your Mac: Use external monitors with your Mac

Cheers!
