How do I retrieve the old passcode for my iPhone 11Pro Max that was lost or stolen?

Unlike the Apple ID password, the passcode is stored only on the phone, so there is no way of retrieving it. You will have to erase the device. Please see: If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support

Can someone at Apple help me retrieve my information in iCoud as I have no memory of the old 6 digit passcode. My entry passcode for my old phone is known but it only has 4 digits,not 6.
