Mac Mini M1 Consistent USB-C Display Issues
I know similar postings are out there, but I want to post this just to try to make Apple more aware of how much this is an issue. I just cannot get my Mac Mini M1 to work consistently with my second monitor. It is a Dell U2720Q 4K USB-C monitor and I have now spent more time unable to use it than being able to. I had my Mac Mini logic board replaced a few weeks ago after the 11.2 update completely killed both USB-C ports. Since the replacement I have been fine until last week when my screen suddenly flashed and I got an image burned into the Dell monitor screen and it started flashing in the upper portion. I assumed it was a screen issue and Dell replaced the monitor this weekend. Now on the new screen I am suddenly getting an issue where the screen flashes on and off repeatedly after I woke the system from sleep. I have tried restarting the system, but the screen just keeps flashing on both mac mini ports. If I plug the monitor into my Intel Macbook Pro, the screen displays without issue. I have spent A LOT of time troubleshooting these issues and it destroys my workflow at work when my 2nd monitor keeps going out. I regret buying the M1 Mac Mini.
