I have a 2011 IMAC , what (thunderbolt 2) cable or hub do I need to hook up a HDMI ex-monitor and a SSD ex-hard drive ?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13

To connect an SSD too you need a Thunderbolt dock. The best Thunderbolt 1 and 2 docks seems to all be discontinued, but Thunderbolt 3 docks work if self powered and using Apple's Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter.
