I Can't drag and drop audio files from Dropbox into GarageBand

Hello everyone,

Can you please help, I can't drag and drop audio files from Dropbox into GarageBand. I do not have the newest version of GarageBand on my MacBook Pro due to storage issues, but that did not stop me from extracting, downloading and dragging files from DropBox into my GarageBand DAW in the past. Thanks in advance!

Garageband tab in iMovie not working Hi, I would like to be able to see my GarageBand projects in iMovie to be able to import them. I save a project in my GarageBand folder. Under audio in iMovie there is the GarageBand tab but when click on it it is empty and says "1 file is missing iLife preview and unavailable" I am using Big Sur with iMovie 10.3.1 and GarageBand 10.4.5. I have no idea how to get iLife preview for these files! I know before there was an option to share songs to browser in GarageBand but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. So wondering how I can get things to show up under the GarageBand tab in iMovie. Can anybody help? Many thanks

Audio files are unplayable after being uploaded to iCloud drive Hey there. I have a number of audio files (.aif and .wav) for music production projects that I can no longer open on my Macbook. I see the files in Finder but can't seem to open them with any application. There's no cloud icon next to the files indicating that they're remote. They all have pretty reasonable file sizes (~50MB, not 1KB or something like that). Furthermore, I can play the files when I visit https://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive/, so I know they exist in an uncorrupted state. I just can't open them locally on my computer and there's no indication to me that they aren't downloaded. Please help! Happy to give more info about things I've tried.

How to import audio files into garageband? Hello community, I want to put an audio file into GarageBand but i am quite new to mac technologies First, someone forwarded an audio file to me and then i put that into quicktime (so it is a mp4 file), i want to know how to put that file into garage band; (just for knowledge's sake, if i can not do it with a mp4 file, could i possibly save the file as a different file or change it with third party applications: How do i put the audio files into garage band?)
