Hi. I have a MacBook Air M1 2020 model running Big Sur v11.2.2
Trying to connect to my old HP LaserJet M1005 by installing printer driver but unable to do so. HP Easy Start is of no help. Upon installing HPPrinterDrivers5.1.dmg
I am getting "This volume does not meet the requirements for this update."
Can someone please suggest.

Thank you, P. Phillips. This downloading drivers from this link solved my issue. Also was able to setup my Brother DCP-L2520D series printer with another download from https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201465
These are the latest Driver from Apple for HP Printers. Strongly suggest verifying if your model is listed as supported before downloading.
