Personal Hotspot suddenly really bad on Mac

Up until a couple of days ago, I was using my phone's Personal Hotspot functionality on my Mac. However, the hotspot's speed suddenly got horrible. Now, almost any other network absolutely trumps it in speed. How can I fix this and make the hotspot work as intended again? I've rebooted both the phone and the Mac, and the problem has not been solved.

Good Morning beautiful people, I am sharing my internet from my iPhone 7 Plus to my iPhone 12 Pro Max using the Hotspot feature, both phones has the latest iOS and the same Apple ID, but unfortunately every time I leave my 12 Pro max for some minutes I found it disconnected, I tried to find any settings to solve the problem on both phones but couldn’t find, I did a clean factory reset using my Mac with the DFU mode but I still have the same annoying problem, anyone please know a solution please? I already tried to use Bluetooth connection instead of wifi but the internet speed was very very slow ( on Bluetooth I receive 0.2 to 0.5 Mb/s but on Wifi Hotspot between 20 to 50 MB/s) and I tried to connecting using Bluetooth and Wifi, the Wifi will disconnect automatically also. Personal Hotspot issues and not connecting on iPhone X iOS13 I am having issues connecting from my MacBook Pro 2018 to iPhone X iOS 13 to use the Personal Hotspot. The network connection does show as connected but drops every time after about 2 to 3 seconds. All help welcome.

Hi Karisma_,

It looks like you're having trouble with Personal Hotspot. If that's correct, let's try the following.

If Personal Hotspot is not working on your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular)

If this continues to happen, are you having the issue in multiple locations?

Does the internet on your iPhone seem slower as well?
