Hi guys, I just recently switched over from samsung to apple and transferred using the adroid to ios app.
Realised that the imessage read receipt was turned off by default. Is this normal? Does the latest ios turn off read receipts by default?
Im using iphone 12 pro max. Ios 14.4

Out of the box, Read Receipt is set to OFF by default. You can make your adjustments to the Read Receipt feature at any time and that setting will then remain across all updates.
