Using US Apple TV in Europe

I'm relocating to Eastern Europe for some contract work and would like to take my Apple TV with so I can keep using to watch my favorites, on the wifi, will it just work like normal there?

The Apple TV hardware will work worldwide, but you may need a replacement C7 power cord or a Travel Adapter to fit the European AC sockets.

  • Many US content providers (TV networks) refuse to stream to non-US locations (often identified by non-US IP addresses).
  • Netflix will stream to any supported locality worldwide, but content selection may be localized.
  • Amazon Prime Video will stream to any supported locality worldwide, but content selection may be localized.
  • Apple TV+ and iTunes Store content will check your Apple ID region, so if your billing address stays the same, then that content will continue to be available to you while in other countries.
