iDVD is a discontinued 32 bit program that will not run on the current operating systems.

As a replacement, you can look into DVD Creator by peng GUIPING for $14.97 at the online app store.

OWC mercury Pro will NOT run on the 2021 Imac w/M1 chip. Old Toad steered me wrong. as the OWC Mercury Pro will NOT run on the 2021 Imac w/M1 chip. There is NO cd/dvd driver for this IMAC. Plus their Superdrive also will NOT Run on this machine.
