Is Philips 276E9QJAB monitor compatible with Macbook Air 2020 ?

I would like to use it via a USB hub with an HDMI to USB cable (not a USB-C).

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.2

You cannot simply use a USB only hub and connect any display

from any computer.


You can however, get specialized USB-C hubs/docks that provide

multiple interfaces including HDMI. Simple go to Amazon and

search USB-C hubs.


As for as compatibility, pretty much any display will usually

work with the exception of some to he new "ultra-wides",

i.e. the width of nearly two displays in a single display.
