App store payment not completed

My wife's iPhone 7 cannot complete an important app download that she needs. Every time she tries to to download she gets a "payment not completed" error message. I made sure her credit card is added correctly. This is for a no cost app so I can't think of anything else to do. Any help is greatly welcome.

Does this occur with all apps that your wife attempts to download?


If so, since you were already able to try verifying the payment method on file is updated and correct, we'd recommending contacting Apple Support to speak with their Apple ID billing team. You can reach out to them here: Get Support
