Scribble language setting iOS 14.4.

If I add the traditional Chinese keyboard in settings, Scribble defaults to traditional Chinese even when the floating keyboard is set to English and I cannot figure out how to change it. Scribble will recognize alphanumeric input automatically but punctuation entered on its own is converted to Chinese punctuation. Is there anyway to force Scribble to match the language setting on the keyboard, short of deleting the Chinese keyboard in settings? Or is this something I will have to wait for 14.5 to address?
