I would like someone to help me back up my Mac Book Pro

I would like to know if my devices are being backed up.

I used to back up my MacBook Pro with a Seagate Hard drive, but that no longer opens.

I keep getting reminders to my Mac saying that it has not been backed up for 400 + days.

Please advise as to how I can back my devices up.

There are a lot of different ways to get your computer backed up. I'm not sure if your computer is backing up the way that it was before, but if your computer is telling you that it has been 400+ days without backing up, then it probably hasn't been backing up but it should tell you why when you go to back it up. I'm not sure what you have been doing and can't see what it is that your computer shows you when you to back it up. You can check out How to back up your Mac and get some information on how to back it up and make sure that it is working. If there is more help you need, then you should probably give as much information as to what it is saying when you try to back it up, and what steps you have taken. The more information that you can give, the better your chances of getting the proper help that you need.
