Screen goes blank when open more than 45 degrees

My MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) screen goes blank when the lid is opened more than 45 degrees.

It looks like Apple is fixing this issue for the 2016 model only even though the 2017 model is affected as well.

After paying the top $$$ thinking that this is going to be a reliable laptop, ended up with disappointment as Apple is fixing only for the 2016 model even though they know that the 2017 model is affected as well.

Maybe it is time to switch to Windows or Linux based laptops.
