I have been able to cast Prime Video and Disney from iPad to TV and suddenly I can't. This started a few weeks ago.

Up until a few weeks ago I was able to cast from Ipad to Channel Master OTA DVR. Now when I attempt this, I no longer see the Channel Master option, but Air play.

Look, no iPad comes with a “Channel Master” streaming option on their iPads.

If you were getting this in your iPad, then this is something your Channel Master DVR is transmitting to your iPad over WiFi to be able to use the DVR's streaming feature/option.

Something in the software of Channel Master DVR has changed recently or has been updated by Channel Master DVR by Channel Master at some point.

We have a streaming boxes in our home and receive behind the scenes, over the air, WiFi updates all the time, that we are not always aware of some times.

Try the simple hard reset. If no joy, I really think your issues lie with the Channel Master DVR and its software/service.

You are mistaken.

Apple iOS devices and OS upgrades do not install third party stuff.

Something has changed on Channel Master's end that clearly you may not be aware of.

Just as an experiment.

Try the new hard reset procedure for the 2018/2020 iPad Pro/IPad Air 4 models without a Home button.

1. Press and release the volume UP button.

2. Then immediately press and release the volume DOWN button.

3. Then, press and hold the Power button at the top.

You will see the Slide to Power off button, but keep on holding down the Power button until you see the Apple logo, then let it go.

Once you have performed all the steps, wait for a few seconds and your iPad Pro will boot up completely to the iPad Pro’s Lock screen.

If no joy, can you explain to us the procedures and settings you use to stream your iPad to your DVR?

Is it over your Home WiFi network?

Do you use an app to connect your iPad to the DVR?

We have no idea how you are trying to stream content from your iPad to your DVR.

In the Disney app under Accounts, is stream over WiFi option toggled ON/active?

What about the settings within the Prime Video app or any Pime Video app settings found in the iPadOS Settings app?

Are all your WiFi and streaming app settings setup correctly?

Before I try the above hard reset steps, a little info might help. My iPad Model Name is iPad(7th generation), and the Model Number is MW742LL/A. The TV is a Sony Model Number KDL55EX640 SMART LED. The Channel Master Model Number is CM-7600.

Used to be: The TV was on and tuned to regularly scheduled programing (using Channel Master and OTA antenna). The iPad was on with Prime Video app (or Disney+ app) launched. A selection was made for any TV Show/Movie in the catalog. "Play Movie" is selected and a set of icons appeared across the top of the iPad screen. One of them used to be the "cast" icon. It was a rectangular TV screen with a set of concentric arcs in the lower left corner inside the screen. The icon was tapped and a pop-up would have one choice: "Cast to Channel Master?" That choice was tapped and almost instantly the video/movie would appear on the TV.

Now: Same set-up with one difference. The "cast" icon no longer appears in the set of icons at the top of the iPad screen. In its place is a rectangular TV screen sitting on top of a small triangle (no concentric arcs). When that icon is selected, a pop-up has a set of concentric circles with a small triangle and the word AirPlay with an iPad looking icon and a check mark and nothing happens. I've tried tapping and swiping and nothing happens.
