How can I stop Siri constantly asking: 'Just to confirm...' on MacBook Pro?

I make a FaceTime audio call numerous times a day on my MacBook Pro (Big Sur 11.2.2) to the same number, but every time Siri asks: 'Just to confirm you'd like to call...'

Using the same command on my iPhone to call the same person Siri never asks for confirmation.

I thought Siri was supposed to learn from my actions. I have been making the same call many times a days for years on the MacBook and still he asks.

This is so time wasting and frustrating. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have a solution?

All help hugely appreciated!

Hi narkurs,

We understand that Siri asks to confirm a call request. Are you using the internal microphone when the issue occurs, or do you have an external microphone connected? If an external microphone is connected, try disconnecting it temporarily to see if the issue persists.

If an update is needed, let's go ahead and install those updates now: How to update the software on your Mac

Does the issue persist in safe mode: Start up your Mac in safe mode

All the best.
