Security update still in app store after already installed

How can I clear or hide an update from the App Store that has already been installed?

I can't install it again because it just comes up with "Available updates have changed"

Thanks

If it is showing up as available for download in the App Store Updates page then it most likely did not install the first time.

Click on the top left of your screen and select About This Mac, click on System Report.

Scroll down to Software then Installations, click Install Date twice to see the list with the most recent installs first.

If the Security Update does not appear in the list it did not install.

Click on this link,

Download the Security Update from the link above,

once it has downloaded double-click to install.

As mentioned I believe Eau Rouge is correct.

In About this Mac, click on1the MacOS version & it will show the build#, if it is less than 7G8037 then it didn't complete the install.

Try the standalone Security Update 2020-005 or 2020-006 (High Sierra) in Safe Mode...

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup).
