iMac suddenly not connecting to home network (other devices work fine)

My iMac suddenly is connecting only very intermittently to my home network. All other devices are connecting fine with fast speeds. Overall, the iMac programs are working fine as well.

Here are a few details about my Mac to help get some advice on where to start

iMac - late 2015 model. Have about 150 FB of free space on a 1 TB flash drive

My provider is Verizon Fios. I’ve done the reboot, etc, to no avail. Again, all other devices seem to work great.

I’ve tried both Ethernet and WiFi and having same issues. I tend to run both since I have a wireless printer, so have unplugged Ethernet as a test.

CPU usage seems fairly normal, but I can look for something specific if necessary.

I do use the Eero mesh network. I noticed two recent updates and have asked the question on their Reddit board.

Only other new program is 1Password, but that was a month ago.

Any thoughts appreciated.

What macOS version are your running?

Have you tried a restart and, that failing to help, an SMC reset?:

Your iMac does NOT have the T2 security chip mentioned in those instructions.

  • Reset your modem (yes even if other devices work okay)
  • Reset your router (again yes, if everything else works okay)
  • Ensure your Eero Mesh is up-to-date on it's firmware
  • Restart the iMac.
