Can I still preview songs before buying in iTunes Store?

On my iMac (OS Catalina), I open Music. Yes, I am signed in to my Apple account. The, I click [iTunes Store] in the left pane (under Store). New material appears in the main window. (For example, I can click Justin Bieber and preview his songs. They play fine. Hey, he just happens to be the first item shown.)

However, the only Search" box I see is in the left pane, at the very top. So, if I enter "Beatles" or "ABBA", I get results... but cannot listen to them. Instead, I am repeatedly hounded... er, invited to subscribe to Apple Music.

I click "Not Now" at the very top of the dialog to dismiss the invite. Then, I try again to preview a Beatles song - and am I thrust back into the subscribe cycle of death. What am I missing?

Magnificent,

With the new (and annoying) design, it is easy to fall into Apple Music when you really want to be in the Store. Make sure you have clicked the icon for "iTunes Store" as shown below.
