waze stops talking with carplay

Every time My iPhone is connected to the car play Waze goes Mute, once it's back to my iPhone I can hear Waze instructions again. What can be done to be able to hear Waze instructions on my Car audio?

We'd advise following these steps for Waze: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open.


In addition, you can also "Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, tap your car, then tap Forget This Car. Then set up CarPlay again."


If the issue continues, you may need to contact the app developer: How to contact an app developer.
