I have no network at all I’m on o2 been no network service from 9-10am this morning

I have no network at all I’m on o2 been no network service from 9-10am this morning? I’ve tried switching on and off my phone !ive done local network checker with o2 and the area is fine !

but can’t get to turn on my mobile data for update because of no network service and apples telling me to switch on mobile data but how can I if there’s no service??

Ah, from the screen shot I see you have a different problem.


Go to Settings/General/About and look at the field for Modem Firmware. If it is empty you need to restore iOS on your phone using your computer to reinstall the modem firmware. If it isn’t empty a restart may fix it.

Thank you for taking your time out to reply to my distress message. My phone still saying no service but will leave it switched off for an hour and try again.A carpenter that came to do some work this morning at my flat had the same problem but he did switch his phone on and off and it was working fine after that and his on o2 like me so I’m a bit confused

Yeah just been checking online to see if open through lockdown but there all closed! Only way is pick up and drop services or I might just buy a Mac book pro and update it myself ? But you have been so helpful the world need more people like yourself in it .many thanks again and I’m sure il be hearing from you if I find myself on here again if having more problems with MacBook lol
