hope you can help. So im interested in the home pod. I use Apple Music all the time. I’ve just had a new TV with Apple TV built in.
I was wondering if Apple do a sound bar that I can link the home pods to, if it even works like that? I was hoping for surround sound when watching tv and move the pods around the house when we have company, does it work like that???

no, tvs do not have appletv build in some tvs has the appletv app build in but that is not the same thing, and the home pod can act as speaker for the appletv box not for appletv app enabled tvs

if you wish they enable airplay 2 transmission to appletv app supporting tvs you can suggest it to them using their feedback channel

not using bluetooth so only way would be if the sound bar supported acting as airplay 2 transmitter, so far the only airplay 2 enabled devices (not from apple) I've come across works as airplay 2 receivers not transmitters

yes I realise this is the community. ill make the question simpler, is it possible to link a sound bar with the sound pods?
