Factory Version

Hi,

I was trying to restore my Mac to a factory version.

There were two volumes:

  • Macintosh HD
  • Macintosh HD - Data

On Macintosh HD - Data, I chose "delete group...."

Then, in the image below, two volumes disappeared in Internal.

Would you tell me what to do?

Can I add volume under Update?

No.

And should I make
EITHER
Macintosh
OR
Macintosh
Macintosh - Data?

I almost remember: there was Macintosh only last time.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I turned off Mac and turned it on with cmd +R.
Then, Mac asked me the internet connection.
Mac downloaded something.
And I saw the image below.

You need to click on the View Button and choose “Show all devices.”

You should then see your Apple SSD with the Container.

Select the Container and click the Add Volume button.

Name it whatever you want. Macintosh HD is what Apple uses, but it doesn’t matter what you use.

When you run the installer, choose that volume you created.
