Lightning to 3.5mm adapter not working

Sup,

so I have an IPhone 11 and a lightning to 3.5 adapter which came in a box with my old iPhone 7.

It worked fine with iPhone 7 and other iPhones but it is not working with iPhone 11.

I plug it in, connect headphones, listen to music for a minute or so and then there’s a notification on my screen that says “this device is not supported by your phone”

what is the problem? And is there a solution? Or should I buy a new adapter?

Hello,

See if this helps:

If you see an ‘Accessory may not be supported’ alert

Good luck.
