In Logic when recording, the first note doesn't get detected

In Logic when recording midi, the first note doesn't get detected.

It's not a midi chase issue. Not recording at the first bar.

Any ideas?

Logic receives MIDI but notes don't trigger instruments Hello folks. I am pretty new here in this communities environment. My situation is pretty interesting and driving me absolute bananas. I'm using an M-Audio Oxygen 88 external MIDI (from now on I will refer to it as extMidi). Fact: Logic receives MIDI signals from the extMidi as I can monitor them on Logic lcd screen as I play chords and notes. Problem: I select, say a grand piano software instrument, but the notes I play on the extMidi will not produce any sound. Fact: I am in the middle of a project and all was going fine meaning that I had previously recorded piano sections using the extMidi. All of a sudden (I must have accidentally changed some setting) and now this Fact: Even though software instruments will not produce any sound (I tried a bunch of different ones), when I record, I can see the notes on the piano roll. But when I attempt to playback the recorded MIDI section, again, no sound. Fact: When I create a new empty project and do the same (create a software instrument and play notes on the extMidi) everything works fine: notes will produce sounds, etc. BIG Fact: This is really frustrating please help. MIDI not recording I'm sure it's something super simple and obvious - to someone, but not to me right now! I am trying to record some soft synths inside Logic. I have a MIDI controller that is definitely working, as I can see and hear signal when I play the sound. When I press record the track looks like it is recording but does not record any notes. When I finish the recording it just leaves a 1 bar empty region. Whenever I change a MIDI setting in the preferences I seem to be able to record once, but not again. Anyone know what might be causing this? Thanks.

D2 note sustain stuck in Logic Pro with Novation Impulse 49, on midi channel 1 only Hi! Logic Pro X 10.6.1 The D2 note stays "on" when Novation Impulse 49 is set to MidiChan 1 (wich I think includes all the midi chans... The only way to stop this sustain is to change Impulse's MidiChan to 2 or higher... But what can make it happen on MidiChan 1?
