How do I unclick the silence when phone is locked. I want my notifications when my phone is locked.

As long as Do Not Disturb is not turned on, the switches that you are referring to, Always and While iPhone is Locked, do not matter. If Do Not Disturb is not turned on, you should receive all notifications no matter which one of those is checked. The only difference may be if you have Silence Unknown Callers turned on in Settings>Phone, or if you have an Apple Watch paired to the iPhone. It would receive the notifications if you are wearing it and the phone is locked.
So the settings in DND really don’t do anything when DND is off.
i am unable to turn off this function as well. the do not disturb function on my phone is off, and the check on the silent while locked is still there. i am unable to uncheck that function.
i tried that and my phone will not ring
