adding new names to contacts

I want to add eBay to my contacts list in order to keep eBay emails out of the bulk mail folder. When I start to add the name, it searches through my list and if it finds an eBay email address belonging to some other company or when it finds that combination of letters in another name (like timebandits), it beeps and goes to that page and will not allow me to add the new contact.
