Activity Rings on my Apple Watch

My Apple Watch used to notify me when I closed my rings or got close to closing them. It used to send an encouraging message to complete rings and to stand every hour as well as reporting challenges completed. It does not do that now and I have checked what to do on different sites as well as YouTube but can’t find my specific problem. I’ve made sure things are turned on etc etc
