Malwarebytes for iPhone (premium) iPhone going bonkers at times.

Does anyone have Malwarebytes or your iPhone 11 Pro Max? After downloading it bc getting the premium, my bank’s app “real time debit purchase” notifications stopped coming through, on my screen from the bank app itself. Now I still was getting text alerts but they were delayed and then I got 1 debit notification at 2:30am when my purchase was pretty early in the day. I really like my bank apps and bank said it was apps issue and the app support, of course said it was the banks issue. Do malware, spyware and sensitive information blocking apps, mess with the bank information and alerts??

I got the Malwarebytes app. Bc it’s a good one and my phone been acting squirrelly..., apps have been closing while in the middle of doing something, I can store a number but it will ring and caller ID and is’t like it’s not stored in my contacts, my location will literally put a red pin 📍 almost everywhere I go that our of the normal routine it’s strange bc idk how to even put a red pin or what it means or why? Then my camera will open on its own while I’m doing something else on my phone or I’ll go to pick it up and the dang thing is on..., I have 30 second auto lock, so how can my phone already be open on camera when I’m home alone, or I’ll set it down like getting off the phone or simply set it down no the camera will come on and phone won’t shut off at 30

second. And NO I do not tap camera on homescreen and I do not do the shortcut app., My iPhone keeps unpairing with my Apple Watch to Auto Unlock the watch when I unlock my cellphone. And I had more than one iPhone and Apple Watch connected to the health app. Then to top it all off my Apple Watch won’t stay consistent with unlocking my MacBook Pro, sometime

it does and other times it won’t. And yes they are both connected to wifi and blue tooth is on and so is handoff.

Could I have a virus on my phone or could this be a software issue, no it can’t bc Apple run a text and all seemed good. And I check my connected devices in iCloud and it’s my devices.

Oh even my watch would not have a favorite contact’s name it would only display their number.

None of my friends phones do this. I also will loose connection to my dang printer and Alexa. I hope it’s an easy fix or a stubborn glitch. Oh and I have AT&T but my phone has shown up as Verizon and I’ve never had anything but At&t.

Speaking of that.., on my wifi network my iPhone will say (Manufacture: Apple) but will add another iPhone that my phone will be connected to and it will switch to (Manufacture: Unknown) but my watch, iPad, MacBook, sons iPad, will all say (Manufacture: APPLE) so I’m like Ok wtheck?!? At&t can explain it and had never heard or see it before. Ok last thing so I don’t forget my “VPN” turns on all the time, while not on a wifi network, and when I’m at home on my private password protected wifi, I’ll get an alert of open network. This is one big head scratcher, or a Lemon, or a black cloud. I have had other devices connected to my HM network that I did not recognize or 2 Richelle’s iPhone or 2 of my son iPad. We only have 1! lol but not so funny, kinda wild!

Any advice. Im sorry I know it’s a lot but I don’t understand the extra iPhone and watch that’s under devices. Anyone else have these issues. What do y’all think?

Any help and/or advice is greatly appreciate, along with any feedback. 😊

iOS / iPadOS devices cannot be hacked or infected with Virus / Malware / Spyware if it is updated to the latest iOS/iPadOS unless you have intentionally downloaded spurious software or unauthorized apps directly from the internet and installed on your device or/and have Jail Broken.

It (Hacking) also depends on how careful are you in sharing sensitive and valuable information pertaining to your iPhone such as Passcode, Password etc with your friends and family members.

Be careful when sharing the device's sensitive and valuable information with friends and family members.

Thumb Rules:

  1. Enable  Guided Access before handing over an iPhone to kids
  2. Don't share Apple IDs
  3. Don't Jail Break
  4. Don't share sensitive information pertaining to your device and payment methods
  5. Beware of Phishing
