How do I stop Apple Music from automatically playing the last song I listened to on my Apple TV box?

I turned on the Apple TV box and it automatically started playing the last song I listened to. It’s annoying and I can’t find a setting to make it stop doing that.

Hey AnneG_1026,

Sounds like you've got AutoPlay set up on your Apple TV, which is expected to be on by default. If you want to turn this feature off, check out the steps below:

"Turn Autoplay off or on

Autoplay (on by default) continues to extend the queue with similar songs similar until you stop playing music. You’ll be able to see the next ten songs that are queued up.

  • With the Now Playing screen open on Apple TV, swipe up and select the Autoplay button at the top of the screen.
  • To turn Autoplay on again, select the Autoplay button again."

For more info, check out: Now Playing: Control music playback on Apple TV

We hope this information helps out.

Take care!
