First Step one is just increasing volume overtime or crescendo or volume swells

I know I can use Logic crescendo tool but I want to try something else and I need help

Ok so I start with a default Logic piano like Yamaha or Steinway

Now I know I’m going to hear the sound for software instrument but I want to map the volume to my mod well so that I can have it Complete control over all the volume

So now with the mod wheel pulled down towards myself

So now when I play any note on the keyboard it’s off there’s no volume until I push up the mod wheel overtime

Application

My end result is

As I’m playing a two note etc... on midi keyboard passage I want to increase the volume with the MOD in real-time

So please how do I set that up in Logic please if so kind screen shots to make this setup more clearer

Thank You

Hi there,

I just mapped 15 parameters with no problem. I recommend using Smart Controls to pull this off.

You can map multiple parameters to a single "smart control".

You can map a parameter to volume, high cut, and perhaps resonance or add a riser.

Hope this helps and solves your query,

Glad you found this helpful.

you can do a lot of things to create this audio phenomenon.

try mapping the Mod wheel to a low or high pass of an EQ. This can simultaneously take away brightness and make a sound quieter and do the opposite as well (brighter and louder).

CMD+L is an easy way to map anything in Logic Pro. Click the parameter (in this case high cut), hit CMD+L, and then move the mod wheel and this should get you there.

May I assist further or has this solved your query?

Hi Eddy ,

Yes That was very helpful Thanks

now for Step 2

I been listening to different sounds as they grow with volume and intensity

and I notice they go from quieter and dull to louder and brighter

how would I set up and map that for the mod wheel

keep in mind I want to do this as a real-time performance

so I can interact

so as I play the two notes and push the mod wheel upwards

I will hear the two layers elements inaction

1.raise overall volume

2.from dull to brighter
