Keep laptop sync'd with Imac
My MBpro is running on a restored backup of Imac
This is so I can have the same OS & functions on the road.
How can I Sync them without going through a restore process once a month?
Thanks
MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.12

Use iCloud on both devices. Its that simple. If you have never used iCloud please refer to https://support.apple.com/guide/icloud/set-up-icloud-mmfc0f1e2a/icloud and also https://support.apple.com/icloud if you need help.
iCloud will sync your documents, email, Safari bookmarks etc. iCloud is NOT repeat NOT a backup system. In order to keep them on the same version of Mac OS, you must update them individually. It is wise to check once every 2 weeks to see if any updates have been released. If they have, obviously install them.

So in terms of password Mgrs and specific invoicing apps... would they sync over or is there application selections that need to be made?
Thanks
You would have to ask the developer of those apps.
