Switching from Android to iOS

Hiya,

Today, I got my new Iphone, currently using a Samsung S9, but not for much longer!

I'm going to use Move to iOS app, to transfer everything from Samsung to iPhone but i wondered did I need to switch my SIM card from my Samsung to Iphone first? Or does my Android need a SIM Card to transfer files across?

Any advice would be great.

In an iPhone nothing is stored in the SIM. If you have some contacts stored in the SIM it can be imported anytime.

you cannot store contacts on the SIM in an iPhone
