When I move mail to folders in Apple Mail, they reappear in the Inbox sometime later. Is there a setting that needs to be reset?

I believe I have figured it out. While trouble-shooting a different issue, I had inadvertently changed the setting in Mail Behaviors, Trash, to None instead of Trash. It seems to be behaving correctly now. Thanks for your assistance any and all who took time.

Well, it depends where you're moving them to, it must be on that Server somewhere, as each Mail Server can only see within it's realm, it cannot see On My Mac Folders or eMails & a move to there will think it must've lost it.
Good work, great to hear, take care my friend! :)
