Hello, after updating to iPadOS 14.4.2 my Magic Keyboard for iPad is no longer connecting to my iPad Pro 12.9 inch (3rd Generation) at all. I've tried following other guides to get it to reconnect, but nothing I have tried has worked.

unfortunately, it does not.
I'm not expecting 14.5 to revive a bricked keyboard but to, at least, not break it when using it. Have you bricked a magic keyboard using 14.5 or it was already bricked?
this “Apple” fix does not work. It is a software bug after the new upgrade.

Did anyone found a solution to it? Done all the steps and brought to an authorised service center who told me that the Magic Keyboard is spoiled. How can that be when it’s not even a year old?
Same issue here after the 14.7.1 update. Smart Keyboard works intermittently. It works great until I shut the iPad down then have to fiddle again. Contacts are clean, I have tried all of the resets, including the Settings / General / Reset / Reset Settings option. This is painful. Apple ??? Bueller ??????
