2 Apple watch series 3 showing different reading

Hello,

Me and my wife we both have Series 3 Apple Watch. Whenever we go for a walk, our respective watch would show different reading like I did 1.2 Km and hers showing 1.5 km. We started together and walked side by side the whole time and finished our walk together.

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

2 Apple Watch ultra distance discrepancies My partner and I purchased 2 Apple Watch ultra’s 3 weeks ago and have noticed some marked discrepancies in the outdoor wall measurements. We have a daily walk that we cover each morning, walking side by side and obviously covering the same distance and path. At the end of the walk, my watch states 7.5km and here’s reads 6.4km. Neither of us have our phones with us while walking and the watches have the same watch OS version. Thougts?

Apple Watch activity inaccuracy Hi all, My girlfriend and I both have a 4th gen Apple Watches and have recalibrated, checked the settings, followed all the advice on the pages provided, double and triple checked, and we still have huge differences on our steps, distance, exercise and movement. We have been on holiday in Japan and done the exact same things each day, so we have definitely have traveled the same distance, yet I have more steps than she does and she is considerably shorter than me. Seems like these watches aren’t accurate at all, and this is one of the most important features to us both. What can we do? Thanks, Craig
