I can't get my watch face to light up when I raise my wrist. Changing the setting on my iPhone doesn't get it done

Do you have raise to wake toggled on?

From your iPhone>Watch>General>Wake Screen>Wake on Wrist Raise>Toggle this on

Also make sure you have wrist detection turned on

iPhone>Watch>Passcode>Wrist Detection>Toggle this on

Swipe up on the control panel and make sure that you don't have theater mode turned on

If the 2 faced icon is orange tap it off.
